I would like to run for the position of VP Internal support!
I would like to run for this position because I want to be more involved with OUTreach. The LGBT+ community means a lot to me and has helped me out a lot in the last couple of years, and I would like to give back to the community.
This year, I have a lot of time on my hands, which means I have a lot of time to devote to OUTreach and help the other executive members.
I have noticed that Campus Saitn-Jean, the UofA's french campus, has very little LGBT+ support. It wasn't until my third year -- when I started spending more time at the main campus-- that I heard about OUTreach. Since I am fluent French and English, I can work to to help increase OUTreach's visibility at Campus Saint-Jean, thus making OUTreach more accessible.
